Strong Towns Richmond is a local conversation designed to get residents of Richmond, California to start doing small things to make our city better. Inspired by the national Strong Towns movement, we’re laser focused on taking small, incremental actions.
At Strong Towns Richmond we have a bias toward action. Small, easy, low-cost, simple actions that are aimed at making our city nicer to live in, easier to move through, and more beautiful, comfortable, pleasant and fun. A place we enjoy spending our time in. Because we believe that a truly “Strong“ city or town is one that serves the needs of its residents well.
Who can join our local conversations? Anyone who is interested in learning about Strong Towns principles and wants to use those principles in making our city stronger.

Strong Towns is a national movement that started in Brainerd Minnesota and has steadily spread to dozens of cities and towns throughout the United States and Canada. You will find Strong Towns Local Conversations happening in communities large and small, rural and urban, wealthy and lower income, and everything in between.
